Geboren 1982 in Wuppertal Elberfeld, lebt und arbeitet in Wuppertal.
2002-2005 studierte er an der Fachoberschule für Gestaltung in Wuppertal. Kunststudium von 2006-2011 an der Freien Akademie der bildenden Künste (fadbk) Essen im Fachbereich Malerei/Grafik/interdisziplinäre Arbeit bei Prof. Stephan Paul Schneider. Fabian Freese wurde nominiert für den Essener Förderpreis 2010 und schloss 2011 erfolgreich sein Examen an der fadbk (Akademiebrief) ab.
Fabian Freese ist und versteht sich als Konzeptkünstler. Er kombiniert oft verschiedene Bereiche zeitgenössischer Kunst, wie Malerei mit Fotografie oder Malerei mit Objekten, um die Grenzen des traditionellen Kunstbegriffes zu erweitern.
